Scientech 4076

Share On:

Scientech 4076 Dual Tracking DC Power Supply is a Constant Current (CC) and Constant Voltage (CV) source developed to be used in the laboratories, industries, and field testing. Its size, light weight design and low power loss enable it to be efficient in offering DC output voltages to be used in analog and digital testing.
The DC output can be adjusted from 0 to ±30V using coarse and fine controls, while the current limit is adjustable from 0–2A. Overloading conditions are indicated by “ORA” and “ORB” LEDs. The window display (voltage and current) may be alternated between either DC output.
Both the voltage and current readings have a 3-digit display giving the user the option of switching between the two parameters when required.
The Scientech 4076 is designed to guarantee that the level of ripple is low; line and load regulation is good, and that protective circuits are part of it to operate safely and without problems.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the Scientech 4076 power supply used for?

Scientech 4076 Dual Tracking DC Power Supply is aimed at the laboratory, industrial system, and field testing. It is suitable in testing analog and digital circuits as it offers steady DC voltage, ideal in experiments, troubleshooting and education.

2. What is dual tracking in a DC power supply?

Dual tracking enables both output circuits to have equal voltage levels at the same time. This is also helpful in cases where circuits need balanced positive and negative voltages so that they can be properly tested and more efficiently used in electronics.

3. What is the voltage and current range of Scientech 4076?

Power supply provides the adjustable output of 0 to ±30V with up to 2A current. It also has fixed 5V output with 2A and therefore it can be used in a wide variety of testing and powering needs in laboratories and industries.

4. What is Constant Voltage (CV) and Constant Current (CC) mode?

Constant Voltage mode keeps the voltage constant even as the load varies whereas Constant Current mode keeps the current constant at a predetermined value. These modes provide safe operation, as well as safeguard circuits against damage on testing and experimentation.

5. Does this power supply have overload protection?

The Scientech 4076 does come with automatic overload protection yes. It consists of LED indicators that are applicable like ORA+ and ORA- to warn the users against the possibility of overcurrent or too much current flowing to the device and to other circuits to cause damage to the device and other circuit boards.
