The module has been designed for students and practicing engineers to gain invaluable practical experience on the principle and applications of microcontroller & RFID card reader. The objective is to have a clear understanding of how RFID card reader is interfaced and controlled with microcontroller. RFID card reader works at industry-standard 125 KHz frequency. It is a compact plug and play device. The module has a built in antenna. By using the serial interface the device can be connected to a PC/Laptop or any other host system (microcontroller).
